தமிழ் தட்டச்சைக் கற்பது சரியான அமர்வு, விரல் நிலை மற்றும் விசை அடையாளத்திலிருந்து தொடங்குகிறது. தொடக்கப் பயிற்சி மெதுவாகத் தோன்றலாம்; ஆனால் அதுவே பின்னர் வேகம் மற்றும் துல்லியத்திற்கான அடிப்படையாக அமைகிறது. முதலில் எளிய எழுத்துகள், பின்னர் உயிர்மெய் எழுத்துகள், சிறப்பு சேர்க்கைகள், எண்கள் மற்றும் நிறுத்தக்குறிகளைப் பயிற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும்.
