Why don\'t all my practice attempts get ranked?
Only structured challenges — a Global Typing Challenge, a Government Exam Challenge, or the Sunday Live Typing Test — freeze the exact same passage, duration and language for everyone, which is what makes a fair comparison possible. Ordinary General Practice and Exam Pattern Practice use randomized or self-selected passages, so ranking those attempts against each other wouldn\'t be a fair comparison.
How is rank calculated?
Primarily by Net WPM, with ties broken by accuracy, then fewest mistakes, then who submitted first. Each user\'s single best valid attempt at a challenge counts — all your attempts are kept in your private history, but only your best one appears on the public leaderboard.
