Error treatment
Under UKSSSC general typing rules, mistakes up to 5% are accepted or ignored. When mistakes exceed 5%, five correct key depressions are deducted for every wrong key depression before calculating speed.
Stenographer / PA note
For Stenographer Grade-I / Personal Assistant, Hindi shorthand is 80 WPM and Hindi typing is 25 WPM. English shorthand at 80 WPM and English typing at 35 WPM are listed as preferential qualifications.
